Sylvia S. Wade is the Executive Director of the Traway Home. She has always had a great passion for the elderly. When her father became ill she was dissatisfied with the quality of care he received in some assisted living and rehabilitation facilities. Once he passed, she was inspired to start a residential assisted living home to house residents to provide quality care in a family-like environment. She made it her mission to ensure that the elderly will be well taken care of in their time of need. The Traway Home has given exceptional care to mature residents for well over six years.

Sylvia has a Masters Degree in Urban Affairs with a concentration in Gerontology (Gerontology is the study of the social, cultural, psychological, cognitive, and biological aspects of aging).
